Yet more awards have taken place; this time in the States to celebrate the US edition of Glamour Magazine. Glamour has always celebrated women across the board and tops its year with a ceremony both in the States and here. On Monday night it was the Americans who got dressed up and headed to Carneige Hall in New York. The big winner of the night was Caitlyn Jenner in dark blue Moschino who won Transgender Champion of the Year (an accolade I'm pretty sure was made up just for her this year) but she's a worthy winner none-the-less for all she has done to raise awareness for the transgender community. Other winners included Reese Witherspoon for Hollywood Hero, Misty Copeland for Showstopper (after she became the first black principal dancer in the American Ballet) and Victoria Beckham for Fashion Force. The entire US women's World Cup soccer team won the Game Changer award and Elizabeth Holmes won the Entrepreneur award for her blood test manufacturing kit Theranos, which has made her the World's youngest self-made billionaire! A huge congratulations to all these inspirational ladies!
